ed Feb 29, My bike is louder then the STI coldstart, it has a remus exhaust. I dont have to deaden the trunk space, it's pretty much droneless.

I've heard the newer maddad's are even quieter I have the V1, the V3's are the current ones around. They're made of great quality. Dont hear it at highway speeds but opens up at throttle.

Agreed, the neighbors can hear it at cold start but i think its still more quiet than magnaflows. Once its warmed up, super quiet. The other axlebacks listed are also quiet, and likely cheaper. Check out youtube vids of these brands for the GR and see which sound you like the best.

Quietest air purifiers

ed Jun 5, I had the Magnaflow and changed over to Borla. Couldn't be happier. The drone from the Magnaflow was head splitting. The Borla is quiet enough to be stock until you open it up, and then it's a nice growl without upsetting the neighbors. S T Hye said:. Quieter equipment

Maybe the Nameless with the Magnaflow can option would be a better option but I can tell you that the 5" is not quiet, even by this community's standards. As another alternative, Fujitsubo is also another option although I'm not sure if it mates up to the mid-pipe. If at all possible, I try to go with systems that mate up to the stock mid-pipe so that I'm not paying for an unnecessary mid-pipe given that I'm only stage 2 and likely to stay that way.
